And my editor chopped 14,000 words from my manuscript!
I guess that should come as no surprise since she carved out 8,000 words from the last one. Now, I’m not exactly a verbose person, so this is a bit surprising. But the truth is, her cuts are expertly done, polish the story, and make it flow much better.
I just wish I were smart enough to catch these things while I’m writing, because it’d save me a ton of work.
