A Brief Writing Hiatus

I was on a work-related trip all last week and didn’t have any time for writing. Not the fun kind anyway. Yesterday I got back in the saddle and started tapping at the keys of my laptop once again. I banged out a good 2,000 words of my third book over the weekend, which the goal. That puts me currently at 25k for the third book of my upcoming trilogy, which means I’m just over one-fourth of the way through writing my first draft of the manuscript.

It’s nice to know that the first two books are in the can, and that the last one in this series is pretty far along. Now, if I could just stick to my own self-imposed timeline I might actually get this one knocked out by December… knock on wood.
